Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our expanding sales team. This role suits someone who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys both inbound and outbound sales activity, and wants rapid progression.
The role includes handling inbound enquiries and proactive outbound cold calling, qualifying prospects, and booking high-quality appointments for senior sales closers. High performers will progress into a closing role within 1–6 months, based purely on results.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact and qualify inbound leads for Solar PV and ASHP systems
- Proactively cold call outbound prospects using company data and campaigns
- Run discovery calls to understand customer needs, motivations, and budgets
- Educate prospects on Samso Energy’s solutions and benefits
- Book high-quality appointments for senior sales closers
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Collaborate with the wider sales team to improve performance and conversion
- Develop sales skills and product knowledge through ongoing training
- Progress into a closing role within 1–6 months based on performance
Requirements
- Sales, telesales, or customer-facing experience (preferred but not essential)
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling
- Strong communication and objection-handling skills
- Highly motivated, competitive, and target-driven
- Ambition to progress quickly and earn uncapped commission
- Interest in renewable energy and technology
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 – 19:00
- Early finish on Fridays when targets are hit

Your Job Is Simple

The Money: Uncapped & Weekly
This is a self-employed, commission-only role. You control your income. There is no basic salary, but there is also no ceiling on what you can earn.
- £50 per qualified appointment booked.
- £300 per installed product.
- Up to £650 from a single customer.
Freedom & Flexibility
- Working Pattern: Typical window is 1:00pm – 8:00pm, but as a self-employed rep, you decide your schedule.
- No Clocking In: No fixed shifts. The harder you work, the more you earn.

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This is a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and that our technical administration remains seamless.
You will be the first point of contact for our clients and will play a key part in the “behind-the-scenes” process of our installations by managing DNO applications and project paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Act as the friendly face and voice of the company, handling incoming calls and greeting visitors.
- DNO Applications: Prepare and submit G98/G99 applications to Distribution Network Operators, tracking progress and ensuring all grid connections are approved on time.
- Documentation: Manage essential project paperwork, including filing, data entry, and ensuring all client records are up to date and compliant.
- Office Support: General administrative tasks such as managing post, ordering supplies, and supporting the wider team with daily tasks.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role is essential.
- DNO Knowledge: Specific experience with DNO applications (G98/G99) is highly desirable (e.g., from a solar, EV, or electrical background).
- Communication: A professional and warm telephone manner with the ability to explain processes clearly to customers.

- Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high system performance
- Conduct system checks and ensure installations meet industry standards and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Complete job reports, documentation, and compliance records accurately
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions
- Travel across the UK as required to support project and maintenance needs

- Valid Gas Safe registration (essential)

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Renewables Electrician to join our growing team. This role focuses on the installation, testing, and commissioning of Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems across residential and commercial properties.
The ideal candidate will have strong electrical experience, a proactive attitude, and a passion for renewable technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission Solar PV systems (including battery storage where applicable)
- Carry out electrical works associated with Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations (BS 7671) and industry standards
- Perform fault finding, maintenance, and system troubleshooting
- Complete electrical certification and documentation accurately
- Work collaboratively with installation teams, engineers, and project managers
- Maintain high standards of health & safety on all sites
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical installations
- Experience with Solar PV and/or ASHP systems (preferred but not essential)
- AM2 qualification (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
