Samso Energy: Local Comfort, National Efficiency

Posted on Amir ChaudhryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service received from Ryan and his team. We had 42 solar panels, inverter and 2 batteries installed at our Club House during some horrendous weather conditions. The team worked through these conditions and had our system up and running within 3 days. Very professional, clean and tidy - would happily recommend. Although it’s only been 1 month since the install, savings are already being recognised.Posted on Suyaraj ThiruTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Definitely recommend.Posted on Chris ButcherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently had an EV wall-charger installed by the team. Brilliant experience from start to finish, and at a great price. Our installers were Callum and Jack, great guys. The install only took a few hours and you wouldn't know they had ever been here - apart from the perfectly positioned wall-charger outside. I strongly recommend you give Samso a call if you're thinking of getting an EV wall-charger!Posted on Freddie EldridgeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve had such a great experience from start to end and continued support since with Samso Solar. The initial service to design the solar panel arrays was brilliant. The installation team were fantastic, managed to set up 4 arrays on 3 different roofs all in a day, and they were helpful and friendly throughout the job. Finally and most importantly the team have been on hand for any queries post the install, in order to ensure I was happy with the finished product, and understood the app to its fullest. They were quick to resolve a minor fault having been monitoring the system themselves without me having to get involved. As an additional bonus they also came out as the most reasonably priced, providing the same panel with better warranties than you’ll find with most other companies (trust me I did my research - ignore the adverts you see on Instagram - these guys are the best and experts in their field). I would recommend to anyone wanting to start their solar journey or move away from someone who isn’t providing the service they thought they were buying in to.Posted on Mary GoldsmithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Right from the initial contact through to the support after the installation the Samso team has been thorough, conscientious and professional. Their pricing is competitive and their manner and attitudes excellent. They've also been patient when dealing with our many queries about our new system. I have no hesitation recommending them.Posted on Sean DaisleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Working with Samso solar has been a pleasure. The boys who install the panels are a great team and a credit to Ryan and his team. Looking forward to working with them in 2025.Posted on Peter CurleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. highly recommend Samso Solar ,couldn't beat their price, professionaly installed in one day by polite and tidy crewPosted on Vasfi ÖztürkTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very happy with the service from Samso. Callum, Mickey, Jack & Harrison did a great job.Posted on Stephen DantonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A seamless and transparent process from start to finish. Michael and Harrison who installed the panels and Callum the electrician who connected everything up and commissioned it, were the best contractors we have seen on site for a very long time. Extremely conscientious and professional, they kept us completely informed throughout and worked very hard to complete the job. Not forgetting of course the Samso team themselves who organised everything and ensured that things went to plan. A great job!

Older air source heat pumps relied on fixed-speed motors and basic refrigerants, often causing noisy operation and limited efficiency. They underperformed in colder seasons and needed backup boilers to keep homes in Kent warm, which led to increased running costs and higher emissions.
Modern air source heat pumps are equipped with inverter-driven compressors and high-efficiency refrigerants. These features allow them to adjust output based on heating demand and also offer quieter, smarter, and more effective climate control for Kent homes throughout the year.
New ASHPs achieve SCOP ratings up to 4.5, delivering 4.5kW of heat per 1kW of electricity used. In Kent, where the average home spends £1,200 annually on heating, switching to a heat pump can reduce energy bills by 50–60%. This level of reduction in energy bills is easily achievable in properties with solid insulation and zoned heating systems, which Samso offers.
Kent winters generally stay above -3°C, ideal for ASHP operation. Newer models feature adaptive defrost systems, wide temperature ranges, and insulated coils. This ensures stable performance and reliable heating during chilly coastal evenings or frosty mornings in inland towns like Maidstone or Canterbury.
Today’s heat pumps come with smart thermostats, weather compensation, app-based control, and zoning features. In Kent, this helps homeowners in varied building styles including city flats in Canterbury and even large countryside homes, to maintain custom comfort and cut energy waste without sacrificing performance.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme offers Kent homeowners up to £7,500 toward a new air-to-water heat pump. Kent County Council also supports renewable energy initiatives in residential zones. Samso Energy helps residents navigate funding and secure maximum incentives to offset heat pump installation costs in Kent.

With Samso Energy, switching to a cleaner, cost-effective heating solution is easier than ever. We have a streamlined process that covers assessment, consultation, expert installation, and long-term support. This process makes our heat pump installation in Kent that homeowners can count on for years to come.
Our certified engineers conduct a full site survey in your Kent property. This includes insulation levels, building layout, and energy efficiency ratings. We also evaluate solar panel potential, heating demand, and existing infrastructure to ensure your system is designed for optimal performance.
After the survey, we provide a tailored report outlining your heat pump options, projected savings, installation cost, and eligible incentives. We’ll help you compare air source vs. ground source systems and recommend what best suits your Kent home’s needs and energy goals.
Our MCS-certified installers handle every part of your heat pump install starting from delivery and groundwork to plumbing, electrical, and smart thermostat setup. We also coordinate planning permission if required and ensure your heat pump meets Kent’s local building codes and regulations.
Once installed, your heat pump immediately begins delivering lower energy bills and reduced carbon emissions. You’ll enjoy quiet, even heating all year round. We also offer maintenance services and customer support to help your system stay efficient and reliable for 15–20 years.
Heat pumps are the future of sustainable heating, and Kent is leading the way. When you switch to a heat pump, you reduce your energy bills, cut carbon emissions, and future-proof your home against rising fuel prices and gas boiler phase-outs. Here are more reasons why switching to a heat pump is a smart choice when you’re residing in Kent:
Heat pumps move existing heat rather than generating it. This allows them to use up to 60% less energy than conventional boilers. Kent homeowners with heat pump installations benefit from smaller utility bills and a lighter environmental footprint year-round.
An air source heat pump can reduce your household carbon emissions by over 2 tonnes annually. This directly supports Kent’s climate action targets under its Energy and Low Emissions Strategy.
Heat pumps typically last 15–20 years with regular maintenance. Their modular design and smart self-diagnostic tools minimise breakdowns, reduce repair costs, and deliver long-term heating reliability.
Electric heat pumps operate at peak performance throughout the year, slashing monthly bills, especially in Kent, where off-peak tariffs and smart meters are common. Solar and battery storage pairing means greater savings for those who want to spend smart.
At Samso Energy, we’re committed to providing you with heat pump solutions that are as reliable as they are affordable. Here’s why you should choose us:
Samso Energy’s high-performance heat pumps deliver up to four times more heat than the electricity they consume. With Kent’s average winter temperature around 3°C, our units optimise comfort while reducing utility bills. Achieve better efficiency and consistent warmth with every cycle in your Kent home.
Samso Energy’s heat pumps operate effectively down to -20°C, offering reliable warmth even on Kent’s coldest nights. Adaptive frost protection, thermal sensors, and backup integration ensure uninterrupted comfort. Homes in areas like Sevenoaks or Faversham benefit from year-round performance without relying on gas backup.
Enjoy full control with smart thermostats, Wi-Fi app integration, zoning, and real-time diagnostics. Kent homeowners can monitor system performance, adjust heating remotely, and personalise comfort levels. Smart automation reduces unnecessary energy use while enhancing convenience in modern homes and heritage properties alike.
Our heat pumps are engineered for 15–20 years of use, backed by up to 10-year manufacturer warranties. Samso includes regular maintenance services in Kent, reducing unexpected repair costs and system downtime. Invest confidently in long-term heating reliability and peace of mind.
Samso Energy systems reduce household CO₂ emissions by 2–3 tonnes annually. With electricity tariffs in Kent fluctuating, our heat pumps balance eco-savings and economic value. Support Kent’s clean energy targets and lower your carbon footprint without compromising performance or comfort.
An air source heat pump extracts ambient heat from outside air on the coldest of winter days in Kent. It then uses it to heat your home. It runs on electricity but produces significantly more energy than it consumes, making it efficient and eco-friendly.
The system circulates a refrigerant that absorbs and transfers heat via compression and expansion. The liquid turns into gas, capturing external warmth, then releases it into your home’s heating system before cycling back.
Most residential installations fall under permitted development. However, listed properties or homes in conservation areas may require planning consent. Samso handles the process and consults with Kent authorities where necessary.
Costs typically range from £10,000 to £14,000 depending on the system and home size. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme can cover up to £7,500. Samso offers free quotes and helps you secure funding.
Most heat pump installations in Kent take 2–5 days, including commissioning and integration with your heating system. We minimise disruption and test all components for safety and peak performance.
