Posted on Amir ChaudhryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service received from Ryan and his team. We had 42 solar panels, inverter and 2 batteries installed at our Club House during some horrendous weather conditions. The team worked through these conditions and had our system up and running within 3 days. Very professional, clean and tidy - would happily recommend. Although it’s only been 1 month since the install, savings are already being recognised.Posted on Suyaraj ThiruTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very friendly and professional team, very supportive when needed support and troubleshooting .. they have done excellent work to install Solar system in my house..Posted on Paul DonnTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Definitely recommend.Posted on Chris ButcherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently had an EV wall-charger installed by the team. Brilliant experience from start to finish, and at a great price. Our installers were Callum and Jack, great guys. The install only took a few hours and you wouldn't know they had ever been here - apart from the perfectly positioned wall-charger outside. I strongly recommend you give Samso a call if you're thinking of getting an EV wall-charger!Posted on Freddie EldridgeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve had such a great experience from start to end and continued support since with Samso Solar. The initial service to design the solar panel arrays was brilliant. The installation team were fantastic, managed to set up 4 arrays on 3 different roofs all in a day, and they were helpful and friendly throughout the job. Finally and most importantly the team have been on hand for any queries post the install, in order to ensure I was happy with the finished product, and understood the app to its fullest. They were quick to resolve a minor fault having been monitoring the system themselves without me having to get involved. As an additional bonus they also came out as the most reasonably priced, providing the same panel with better warranties than you’ll find with most other companies (trust me I did my research - ignore the adverts you see on Instagram - these guys are the best and experts in their field). I would recommend to anyone wanting to start their solar journey or move away from someone who isn’t providing the service they thought they were buying in to.Posted on Mary GoldsmithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Right from the initial contact through to the support after the installation the Samso team has been thorough, conscientious and professional. Their pricing is competitive and their manner and attitudes excellent. They've also been patient when dealing with our many queries about our new system. I have no hesitation recommending them.Posted on Sean DaisleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Working with Samso solar has been a pleasure. The boys who install the panels are a great team and a credit to Ryan and his team. Looking forward to working with them in 2025.Posted on Peter CurleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. highly recommend Samso Solar ,couldn't beat their price, professionaly installed in one day by polite and tidy crewPosted on Vasfi ÖztürkTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very happy with the service from Samso. Callum, Mickey, Jack & Harrison did a great job.Posted on Stephen DantonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A seamless and transparent process from start to finish. Michael and Harrison who installed the panels and Callum the electrician who connected everything up and commissioned it, were the best contractors we have seen on site for a very long time. Extremely conscientious and professional, they kept us completely informed throughout and worked very hard to complete the job. Not forgetting of course the Samso team themselves who organised everything and ensured that things went to plan. A great job!
We’ve been installing heat pumps across the UK since 2018, with over 2,500 happy customers and a 98% satisfaction rating. Our mission is simple: we provide reliable, efficient, and affordable heating solutions that are better for the planet.
Our team covers the whole country through local service centers, so you’ll always get quick support from engineers who know your area. All our installers are fully qualified and trained by the top heat pump brands like Mitsubishi, Daikin, and Vaillant.
We’re here for the long haul – from your first consultation right through to ongoing maintenance, we make sure your system runs perfectly and you’re completely happy.
Earlier air source heat pump models used R410A refrigerant and single-stage compressors. These systems lost 40% of their heating capacity when outdoor temperatures dropped to 2°C. They operated in simple on/off cycles that caused frequent temperature fluctuations.
Current air source heat pump systems employ R32 refrigerant with variable-speed inverter compressors and scroll technology. Scroll compressors compress refrigerant in spiral chambers for smoother operation. They maintain 85% capacity even at -7°C and modulate output continuously for stable indoor temperatures.
Modern heat pump SCOP ratings reach 4.2-4.8 in UK climate conditions. SCOP means Seasonal Coefficient of Performance – it measures yearly efficiency, including defrost cycles. Previous generation units achieved just 2.8-3.2 SCOP ratings. This 50% improvement translates to annual savings of £400-600 for typical Fulham properties with 120m² floor area.
Enhanced vapor injection technology allows today’s systems to extract heat from air temperatures down to -20°C. Vapor injection adds extra refrigerant into the compression cycle for better cold-weather performance. Advanced control algorithms predict weather patterns and pre-heat thermal mass during off-peak electricity periods, maintaining consistent comfort throughout London’s winter months.
Current systems integrate with MCS-certified monitoring platforms and smart home ecosystems, including Nest, Hive, and Honeywell. Machine learning algorithms analyze occupancy patterns and weather forecasts to optimise heating schedules automatically. Some models include backup immersion heaters rated at 3-6kW for extreme weather events, though these activate less than 5% of the time in London’s climate.
The £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant applies to MCS-certified installations with SCOP ratings above 2.8. MCS certification ensures systems meet British standards for performance and installation quality. Hammersmith & Fulham Council offers additional £500 grants for properties in Conservation Areas that require special planning considerations. Combined incentives can cover 45-60% of total installation expenses for most residential projects.

Our installation process is designed to make everything as smooth as possible for you. We follow proven industry standards to ensure your heat pump works perfectly from day one and keeps running efficiently for years to come.
In the first step, engineers determine exact heating requirements for each room based on construction materials, window types, and insulation levels. We assess electrical supply capacity, outdoor unit placement options, and identify any necessary planning permission requirements for Conservation Area properties in central Fulham.
Next, our specialists recommend specific equipment based on calculated heat loads and property characteristics. We explain SCOP ratings, noise levels (typically 42-48 dB at 1 meter), and integration options with existing radiator systems.
Our installers come with all the right qualifications – they’re Gas Safe registered, NICEIC electrical certified, and trained by the heat pump manufacturers themselves. We handle everything from the refrigerant work to the electrical connections (your heat pump will need a dedicated circuit), and we make sure everything’s set up exactly how the manufacturer intended.
Once we’re done, you can start enjoying those lower heating bills – most of our customers see their costs drop by 35-50% compared to their old gas boiler. We’ll show you how to use your new system, help you understand the best settings for different seasons, and get you set up with any monitoring apps.
Heat pumps are brilliant for cutting your carbon footprint – they can reduce your home’s emissions by around 2-3 tonnes every year compared to gas heating. Plus, as the UK grid gets cleaner with more renewable energy, your heat pump becomes even greener over time.
Heat pumps are incredibly efficient – they can be 3-4 times more efficient than electric heaters and much better than gas boilers too. That means you use way less energy to heat your home the same amount.
Switching from gas heating can cut your annual carbon footprint by over 2 tonnes. And it’s only getting better – the government expects our electricity to be much cleaner by 2030 as we add more wind farms.
A good heat pump will keep you warm for 18-22 years with proper care, while gas boilers usually need replacing after 12-15 years. They’re built to last with fewer moving parts and solid warranties.
Most of our customers save hundreds every year on their heating bills. You can save even more with smart electricity tariffs that give you cheaper rates at night – perfect for heat pumps.
At Samso Energy, we’re committed to providing you with heat pump solutions that are as reliable as they are affordable. Here’s why you should choose us:
Proper sizing prevents short-cycling and ensures maximum comfort with minimal energy consumption. Our air source heat pump installations consistently achieve 430% seasonal efficiency through precision sizing and optimal equipment selection.

Getting a heat pump helps Fulham hit its 2030 carbon-neutral goal, and it’s great for your wallet too. Homes with heat pumps often see their value go up by 3-5% thanks to better energy ratings and future-proofing against new heating rules. With current government incentives, most homeowners get their money back within 6-8 years.
A heat pump is basically a clever heating and cooling system that takes warmth from the outside air and brings it into your home – a bit like a fridge working in reverse. You’ll have an outdoor unit and an indoor unit connected by insulated pipes. The brilliant thing is they can pull heat from the air even when it’s freezing outside, down to about -15°C.
Absolutely! Heat pumps work really well with most existing central heating systems in Fulham homes. They’ll connect to your current radiators and hot water cylinder using the same pipes your old boiler used. The main thing to know is that heat pumps run at slightly lower temperatures than gas boilers, so you might need to upgrade some radiators to bigger ones to get the best performance.
Most installations take 2-3 days for a typical home. On day one, we’ll position the outdoor unit, sort the electrical connections, and start the pipework. Day two is for the indoor bits, getting everything running, and testing it all works perfectly. If your home needs electrical upgrades or more complex pipework, it might stretch to 3-4 days.
They work brilliantly here! Modern heat pumps are designed specifically for UK weather, and London’s winter temperatures (usually between 2-7°C) are perfect for them. Even when it gets properly cold – down to -7°C – they still run very efficiently. Government testing shows they typically produce 2.5-3.5 times more heat than the electricity they use.
It depends on your specific home, but we work this out using a detailed heat loss calculation that looks at your floor area, ceiling height, insulation, and windows. Most Fulham terraced houses need an 8-12kW heat pump, while bigger Victorian properties usually need 12-16kW systems.
